AIM NC254 flux is compatible with lead technology SN62 / SN63 and lead-free technology SAC305 / SN100C (Lead-free).

NC254 flux, through its wide process window, is used to apply or replace BGA balls, repair electronic circuits and to properly moisten all soldered surfaces.

The solder joints are bright, smooth and shiny . Excellent soldering results can be achieved with both manual soldering, a hot air soldering station, a repair station or a reflow soldering oven.

It is a no-clean flux, it has the consistency of a gel. The impurities that remain on the surface after the soldering process are transparent and have little effect on the appearance of the finished product. For cleaning them, we recommend isopropanol or dedicated products such as KT-5 and KT-6 .

Flux can be removed with soapy water or a suitable cleaning agent, e.g. IPA.

The flux can be applied with a brush, syringe (dispenser), spatula, and printed through a sieve.
